Firstly, you have to telephone for the airport pickup and they speak no English at all and will only leave the hotel when you are waiting outside. The driver was very rude and grumpy and said I should learn Chinese before coming to China (using Google translate). I was relying on the app because I was there for a 1 night layover. So rude to expect every visitor to be able to speak Chinese! He works for a hotel!!
Next, there is nothing luxurious or smart about the hotel. Strong smell of smoke in the downstairs area and people sitting eating noodles.
The room is fine. The shower floods the whole bathroom as there’s no separation.
The water machine is weird but at least you can go and ask someone to come up and show you how to use it for hot or cold water, just use Google Translate for everything.
I actually walked for my return to the airport (about 40mins) rather than see the rude driver again.
